Short, because there is not much to agree to yet. Nothing here is a contract for cleaning — there is nothing to buy on this site.
What this site is
A pre-launch waitlist and a working price calculator, operated by SARTO GROUP. The service it describes is not yet available for sale. We say so on the page, in the plainest words we could find, and we mean it.
The price you are shown
The calculator produces a genuine job price from our own costing model, not an indicative range. It is based entirely on what you tell us about your site.
If you ask us to hold that price, we will honour it for 12 months from the day we open in your postcode, provided the site is materially as you described it. We check that at the first clean. If the site is materially different, you get a revised price and five business days to accept it or walk away, and nothing will have been billed to you.
Prices are shown excluding GST.
What registering does and does not do
Registering puts you on a list and holds a price. It does not create a contract, does not oblige you to buy anything, and does not oblige us to supply anything. We may never open in your area. If we decide not to proceed at all, we will delete your information and tell you.
If you register as a contractor
Registering your interest is not an offer of work and does not create an engagement. Any work would follow a separate written agreement, and would depend on verification — including ABN and entity checks, insurances, a police check and referees. The job prices shown on the contractor page are real examples from our schedule, not a quote for a particular site.
Accuracy
We have tried hard to make everything on this site true, including the parts that are unflattering to us. Some of it describes a product that is still being built, and we have marked those parts as such. If you find something wrong, tell us at hello@sarto.com.au and we will fix it.
The example proposal
The annotated proposal on the home page is a composite. It does not reproduce any real company’s document, and it names nobody — on the stated grounds that we would have to name almost everyone. Any resemblance to a specific quote you have received is because the industry writes them all the same way.
Our content
The words, the costing model and the scope documents are ours. You are welcome to quote or share the page — that is rather the point of it. You are not welcome to reproduce the costing model or pass the scope documents off as your own.
Liability
This is an information site. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from relying on it. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
