How it works

Three things, in this order.

01 · Price

The price comes first.

Before your name, before your email, before anyone finds your phone number. The number on screen is the number on the invoice. It is checked once, at the first clean, and if your site is as you described it, it doesn’t move.

02 · Scope

We print the exclusions.

What gets cleaned, how often, and where the work stops, in a scope you read before you commit. Every task says what done looks like, and the exclusions are printed in the same size type, so nobody meets them one at a time as disputes.

03 · Proof

Every visit leaves a record.

After every attendance your portal shows the date, a confirmed arrival at your address, which items of your scope were done, and photographs of the work. If something is missed, a re-clean is the first remedy, and you deal with us, not the contractor.

Sarto transparency study · August 2026

We did the reading

A price shouldn’t be a trade secret.

We reviewed 106 Adelaide commercial cleaning websites. Of the 94 that loaded, not one published a firm job price. So we built a calculator.

77 / 94show no dollar figure of any kind
0 / 94name their insurer, although nearly all say “fully insured”
26 / 94advertise “no lock-in contracts”, while still not showing a price

The bit most quotes leave out

See where the work stops.

“General cleaning” leaves a lot to the imagination. Pick a level and see what’s included, and what isn’t.

You deserve a scope you can actually argue from.

I’ve spent fifteen years watching clients and cleaners get frustrated by the same thing: a document that never quite says what the job is. Sarto starts with a different order. Write down the work. Price it honestly. Show what’s left out. Then give both sides a clear record to work from.

Fair questions

No. Sarto prices the work, writes the scope, verifies the contractor, holds your money, checks the work was done and pays them. The cleaning itself is done by an independent cleaning business from a vetted network. Your contract is with Sarto, so if something is wrong you deal with us and we deal with them.

Good cleaning.
Less chasing.
